Brian Jones (D-Freedom) defeated Maine House District 45 incumbent Ryan Harmon (R-Palermo) by 26 votes according to results submitted from the eight towns of the Western Waldo County district 2,242 votes to 2,216.
Jones and Harmon each won their home towns respectably. Jones took Montville by a wide margin and edged out Harmon in Unity and Thorndike. Harmon came out on top in Knox, Troy and Burnham. Results from each town were as follows:
