State Police: No foul play suspected in Rockland woman’s death
ROCKLAND — Maine State Police say at this point, there is no indication of foul play in the death of a Rockland woman, found deceased inside her room at a Rockland boarding house Thursday afternoon.
Shawna Jones, 33, was found in her third-floor room at the Brunswick House on Main Street mid-afternoon on June 4, according to Stephen McCausland, spokesman for the state Department of Public Safety.
“An autopsy was performed this morning at the State Medical Examiner's Office in Augusta, and additional tests will be completed before a cause of death will be determined,” said McCausland.
Rockland Police Department assisted State Police in the death investigation.
