Annual Tip-A-Cop for Special Olympics Maine in Thomaston, May 8

THOMASTON — On Thursday, May 8, from 5 to 7 p.m., the Annual Tip-A-Cop to benefit Special Olympics Maine will be held at Applebee’s in Thomaston.
Local law enforcement and fire fighters will be assisting the waitstaff and collecting extra donations for Special Olympics.
McGruff the crime dog will be there.
Law Enforcement are “Guardians of the Flame” for Special Olymics International and the Law Enforcement Torch Run is the largest fundraiser for Special Olympics, according to local organizer Troy Peasley, in a news release.
