Police, family seeking information on missing Cushing man
ROCKLAND — State and local authorities are trying to locate a Cushing man, Kevin Stone Crute, who hasn't been seen or heard from in more than a week.
Knox County Chief Deputy Tim Carroll said Crute, 31, was last seen at Andes Variety on Route 1 (Atlantic Highway) in Warren a week ago Tuesday, May 21. Carroll said there has been no contact by Crute with family or friends since that day, and according to family members, that is "very unusual" behavior.
The Knox County Sheriff's Office is being assisted in the investigation of Crute's disappearance by Maine State Police, the state Major Crimes Unit, Maine Warden Service and Maine Marine Patrol.
Crute is described as a white male, 6-feet 2-inches tall and weighing 200 pounds with red hair and blue eyes.
Anyone with information about Crute or his whereabouts is asked to call the Knox County Regional Communications Center at 593-9132. A KCRCC dispatcher will take the information and pass it along to an investigator.
