Waldoboro police beat: stolen splitting maul, accident, threatening texts and phone calls
WALDOBORO – Waldoboro police reported the following activity, Nov. 14-19. An arrest or summons does not imply guilt. A person charged with a crime is presumed innocent unless and until proven guilty.
Nov. 14
Officer Thomas Bartunek arrested Shawn Brewer, 30, of Waldoboro, on a warrant.

Officer Sean Kozer is investigating a report of threatening phone calls.

Nov. 16
Officer Jeffery Fuller investigated an accident on the North Nobleboro Road at 3:05 p.m. According to the report, Christopher Hardy, 25, of Damariscotta, was driving a 2007 Subaru sedan when he struck a 2002 Hyundai sedan operated by Debbie Grotton, 51, of Jefferson, as she pulled out in front of him. Hardy's car landed on its roof but there were no reported injuries. The accident is attributed to driver distraction.
Officer Sean Kozer arrested Rebecca Debilla, 25, of Warren, on a warrant.
Officer Sean Kozer arrested Robert Christ, 51, of Waldoboro, for operating under the influence.
Nov. 17
Officer Jeffrey Fuller is investigating the theft of an 81-pound splitting maul and firearm.
Officer Jeremy Joslyn is investigating a report of a threatening text message.
