Waldoboro Police beat: Stolen GPS, illegal harvesting of shellfish
WALDOBORO — Waldoboro police responded to 124 calls for service from May 31-June 6. Listed below are a few of the highlights. An arrest or summons does not apply guilt. A person charged with a crime is presumed innocent unless and until proven guilty in a court of law.
June 1
Officer Larry Hesseltine is investigating a report from a resident of the theft of sunglasses and GPS ($300 value) from his motor vehicle.

Shane Sykes, 25, of Bristol, was issued a summons by Officer Steven Drake for harvesting shellfish without a town license.
Sean Pinkham, 28, of Waldoboro, was issued a summons by Drake for harvesting shellfish without a town license.
John Call, 47, of Waldoboro, was issued a summons by Drake for harvesting shellfish without a town license.
Joel Winchenbach, 32, of Waldoboro, was issued a summons by Drake for harvesting shellfish without a town license.
Sgt. Jamie Wilson is investigating a report from a resident of the theft of staging from his residence.
