Waldoboro Police beat: School bus hits parked vehicle, assault
WALDOBORO - Waldoboro police responded to 257 calls for service from June 16-22. Listed below are a few of the highlights. An arrest or summons does not apply guilt. A person charged with a crime is presumed innocent unless and until proven guilty.
June 16
Stephen Parece, 29, of Waldoboro, was arrested by Officer Thomas Bartunek on a warrant.
June 17
Bartunek is investigating a report from a resident of two males walking on the railroad tracks.
June 18
Officer Larry Hesseltine investigated an accident on Kaler’s Corner Road, at the Miller School, at 8:50 a.m. Greta Luellen, 31, of Waldoboro, was driving a 2009 Dodge van. Arthur Anderson, 59, of Warren, was driving a 2006 school bus. Luellen’s vehicle was parked legally, unattended, and the school bus backed into the vehicle. No injuries were noted.
June 19
Casey Hanna, 30, of New Harbor, was arrested by Sgt. Jamie Wilson with operating after suspension.
June 20
Officer Jeffery Fuller is investigating a report from a resident that a vehicle hit his mailbox and drove off.
Nicholas King, 32, of Bangor, was arrested by Fuller for operating under the influence.
A 17-year-old male, of Friendship, was issued a summons by Officer Chris Spear for assault.
Christian Radcliff, 18, of Owls Head, was issued a summons by Spear for assault.
