Waldoboro Police beat: Gasoline drive-offs, driving to endanger, theft of a cut off saw
WALDOBORO - Waldoboro police responded to 425 calls for service from May 27-June 9. Listed below are a few of the highlights. An arrest or summons does not apply guilt. A person charged with a crime is presumed innocent unless and until proven guilty.
May 28
Jessica Alexander, 38, of Waldoboro, was arrested by Officer Larry Hesseltine for possession of a firearm by a prohibited person.
Sergeant Jamie Wilson is investigating a complaint from a resident of criminal mischief to a windshield.
Wilson is investigating a complaint from a resident that someone damaged a door.

Officer Jeffery Fuller is investigating a complaint from a resident of an unwanted subject.
A 17-year-old-male, of Cushing, was arrested by Officer Chris Spear on a warrant.
Wilson is investigating a report from the Big Apple of a $20 gasoline drive off.

Jason Brunelle, 31, of Augusta, was issued a summons by Fuller for operating after suspension.

Billy Curtis, 26, of Texas, was arrested by Officer John Lash for operating under the influence.
Wilson investigated an accident at the Chapel Road and Feyler Corner Road intersection at 7:30 p.m. Irven Starrett, 58, of Warren, was driving a 2005 Toyota sedan. Starrett’s vehicle was travelling northwest on the Chapel Road at a high rate of speed for this section of the roadway and entered the westbound ditch with the passenger side tires. The vehicle then went through a stop sign at the end of the Chapel Road and across Feyler Corner Road and into the yard of a residence. It then struck a 1994 Ford pickup belonging to James Seigars that was parked on the lawn and pushed the truck through the exterior wall of the residence. As a result of the accident, Starrett was charged with driving to endanger and operating under the influence.

Brian Witt, 25, of Newcastle, was issued a summons by Hesseltine for attaching false plates.

Officer Andrew Santheson is investigating a report from a resident of the theft of a cut off saw.

Fuller is investigating a complaint from the Big Apple of a $40 gasoline drive off.
Fuller is investigating a complaint from Maritime Farms of a $13.75 gasoline drive off.
