Waldoboro Police beat: Burglary, driving to endanger, operating after suspension
WALDOBORO - Waldoboro police responded to 233 calls for service from May 4-9. Listed below are a few of the highlights. An arrest or summons does not imply guilt. A person charged with a crime is presumed innocent unless and until proven guilty.
May 4
Ashley Chaisty, 19, of Waldoboro, was arrested by Officer Jeffery Fuller for burglary, two counts of theft, and violation of conditional release.
Joshua Garner, 18, of Waldoboro, was arrested by Officer Jeffery Fuller for burglary, two counts of theft, and violation of conditional release.
A 17-year-old-female was issued a summons by Officer Jeffery Fuller for burglary and two counts of theft.
Devin Davis, 28, of Friendship, was issued a summons by Officer Jeffery Fuller for driving to endanger and operating after suspension.
Thomas Powell, 23, of Friendship, was arrested by Officer Jeffery Fuller on a warrant.
Officer John Lash investigated an accident on Ledges Circle. Andrew Frazzetta, 46, of Damariscotta, was driving a 2001 Ford sedan. Frazzetta’s vehicle was traveling north on Ledges Circle towards the four way intersection with Bremen Road and Dutch Neck Road. The vehicle missed the corner and hit the soft shoulder on the opposite side of the road, travelled into the ditch until it struck a tree and tipped over on the passenger side.
May 6
Eric Barter, 38, of Waldoboro, was issued a summons by Officer Larry Hesseltine for operating after suspension.
Shawn Sabins, 32, of Waldoboro, was arrested by Officer Larry Hesseltime on a warrant.
May 7
Monterral Williams, 34, of Waldoboro, was arrested by Officer Larry Hesseltine for operating after suspension, violation of conditional release and illegal attachments of plates.
Officer Larry Hesseltine is investigating a report from a resident of a cell phone theft.
May 9
Michael McGuire, 46, of Waldoboro, was arrested by Officer Larry Hesseltine on a warrant.
Officer Jeffery Fuller investigated an accident at the intersection of Friendship, Main, and Jefferson Streets. The accident involved Anthony Feltis, 29, of Waldoboro, who was driving a 2015 Nissan sedan and Allen Teele, 35, of Bremen, who was driving a 1998 Harley Davidson motorcycle. Feltis failed to yield the right of way to the oncoming vehicle driven by Teele.
