Waldo County institutes new public emergency information situation report
BELFAST — Waldo County EMA now has a new feature at its website at waldocountyme.gov/ema/index.html. On the right side of the page, there is a new radio button called "SitRep".

Whenever, the County EMA has short notice information, it will be posted there. This could include such information as:
•Shelter Status
•Warming Center Status
•Power Restoration Priorities
•Road closures
•Impacts of storms
•Protective Action Instructions (Evacuation/Sheltering-In-Place)
•Special Instructions
Waldo County will also plan to use this SitRep feature during events such as canoe races and swims to pass information on the status of race participants.
Plan on checking out the SitRep when there is an emergency.
