Rockport Police beat: OUI, forgery, burglary
ROCKPORT – Rockport police reported the following activity Oct. 1-9. An arrest or summons does not imply guilt. A person charged with a crime is presumed innocent unless and until proven guilty in a court of law.
Sept. 20 (late entry)
Rivers Boland, 18, of Rockland, was charged by Officer Tony Del Vecchio with domestic violence assault, burglary, criminal mischief.
Oct. 1
Deborah Duke Chatfield, 62, of Rockport, was charged by Del Vecchio with operating under the influence, violating condition of release.
Oct. 2
Judy L. Walker, 24, of Port Clyde, was issued a summons by Officer Travis Ford with inspection violation.
Lesa A. Kitching, 60, of Thomaston, was issued a summons by Ford for failure to register motor vehicle 30-150 days.
Oct. 4
Gary Simmons, 47, of Rockport, was charged by Sgt. Jim Moore with aggravated forgery.
Oct. 8
Jerome F. Cates, 70, of Norfolk, Va., was issued a summons by Officer Jacob Powers for operating without a license.
Oct. 9
Jerry Pearse, 41, of Warren, was issued a summons by Ford for failure to stop at a stop sign.
