Police charge Rockland man for McDonald’s bomb threat

A Rockland man has been charged in connection with the Tuesday night, Jan. 19, bomb threat to the Rockland McDonald's restaurant, according to city police.
Carl Adams, 33, of Rockland, has been charged with Terrorizing, Class C. Adams was charged Jan. 22, following an investigation by Detective Sergeant Russell Thompson.
The terrorizing charge is elevated to a felony, due to it causing the evacuation of a building.
"We will fully utilize every asset at our disposal to investigate any threats of this nature,” said Rockland Chief of Police Bruce Boucher, in a news release. “Those responsible will be prosecuted to the fullest extent of the law.”
