Oakland man arrested following domestic disturbance
BURNHAM — An Oakland man was arrested July 21, following a reported domestic disturbance in Burnham.
Deputy Dan Thompson responded to the scene, where the complainant stated Ryan Ackerman, 28, had left the residence prior to his arrival.
The woman said that she and Ackerman had been arguing about “money and items,” Ackerman believed she owed to him.
The dispute allegedly turned physical when Ackerman pushed her. She also stated Ackerman had punched a hole in the door during the incident.
Ryan Ackerman was ultimately located in Waterville, where he was arrested by the Waterville Police Department, at the request of Deputy Thompson.
Ackerman has been charged with domestic assault and domestic criminal mischief.
