Nancy L. Beal, obituary
ROCKLAND — Nancy L. Beal, 75, died Sunday, April 6, 2025 at Maine Medical Center in Portland after suffering heart failure.
Born in Rockland, July 1, 1949, she was the daughter of Alton J. and Myrtle Boggs Mank. She was educated locally, graduating from Rockland High School. On September 23, 1967, Nancy married Gerald W. Beal. Together they resided in Rockland until Mr. Beal’s passing in 2004.
Always a social person, Nancy loved to meet new people and find the best deals at lawn sales. She was a hard worker and held several jobs over her lifetime. From School crossing guard, working at the local grocery store in the deli to working as a CNA, she was always busy providing for her family.
Predeceased by her parents; her husband; two brothers, Frank Mank and Emery Mank; two sisters, Betty Beal and Christine Gamage; Nancy is survived by her companion, Bill Morse; her sister Shirley Edwards; her brother Everett Mank; her sons, Brian Beal, Leland Beal; her daughter, Helena Yarosis and her husband David; a grandson, Joshua Beal; two granddaughters, Miranda Yarosis and Jenna Yarosis; as well as several brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law and numerous nieces and nephews.
Family and friends are invited to visit Thursday, April 17, 2025, from 4 to 6 p.m., at Burpee, Carpenter & Hutchins Funeral Home, 110 Limerock Street, Rockland, where a celebration of her life will be held Friday, April 18, 2025, at 11 a.m.
