Meeting this evening, May 18: Rockport to discuss traffic infrastructure study

Rockport is holding a meeting at 5:30 p.m. this evening in the lower level of the Rockport Public Library regarding the towns Traffic Infrastructure Study.
“At this meeting, you will be introduced to the engineering firm doing the work for us, and they will give a presentation outlining the work they will be doing for the town,” said Town Economic Development Director Orion Thomas. “Here is a link to our project page for more information. https://rockportmaine.gov/trafficinfrastructurestudy.”
This meeting, technology willing, we be recorded and uploaded to our YouTube page, with a link on the project page. The town also has a survey on the project page for citizens to complete.
The study area is defined in the RFP as:
- the downtown village area (Main, Central and Union streets)
- Pascals Ave from Route 1 to the downtown
- Route 90 and West Street from the high school to the downtown
