Main Street Rockland to remain open to vehicles for First Friday Art Walk
ROCKLAND — Rockland Main Street, Inc., distributed an update to the Friday’s Art Walk scheduled for Friday, June 2, from 4 to 7 p.m. The event is a celebration of Rockland's art scene.
Due to volunteer capacity and ongoing construction, Main Street will remain open to vehicle traffic during the First Friday Art Walk.
The First Friday Art Walk is a chance for residents and visitors to explore museums and galleries, which will open their doors to the public.
In addition to the regular art walk, there will be a family-friendly youth art walk. The event will feature artwork created by students from the local school district. Their artworks will be showcased at Main Street galleries, museums, and downtown businesses. A reception will be held at the yellow warehouse on Winter Street.
Attendees can gather and enjoy music, wine, and take advantage of downtown promotions.
