Lori A. Roscoe, obituary
WARREN – Lori A. Roscoe, 44, died unexpectedly following a long illness Dec. 17, 2012, at Waldo County General Hospital in Belfast.
Born in Boothbay Sept. 24, 1968, she was the daughter of Francis and Gwendolyn Pierce Moulton. Educated locally, she was a 1987 graduate of Boothbay High School.
Following high school, Lori worked as a chambermaid for several Boothbay area inns until becoming disabled.
On July 10, 1989, Lori married William Roscoe in Rockland. Together they made their home in Warren. Her family said Bill loved to spoil Lori.
Lori loved doing crafts of all kinds, especially knitting, crocheting, felt coloring posters, and paint by number pictures. She also enjoyed making jewelry, often giving her pieces away as gifts.
She was an outgoing person and loved to attend local carnivals, fairs and parades. She took great pleasure in attending firework displays. Her husband said she loved the pull tickets at the fair, and scratch-off tickets, especially if they were BINGO tickets.
Her favorite pastime was going for a ride. It didn't matter where she was going, she just loved to ride, often stopping to visit friends and family along the way, and never missing the chance to stop at a yard sale.
Along with her husband she enjoyed going to eat at McDonalds or Subway.
Predeceased by her parents, Lori is survived by her husband and best friend, William Roscoe of Warren; her children, Benjamin Alan Labbay and Sasha Ann Labbay, both of Bowdoin Center; her brother, Ronald Moulton and his wife, Laurie, of Cushing; her sister, Arlene Foss of Newport; her step-children, William A. Roscoe Jr. of Northern Maine, Kaila Kelly of Portland and Katherine Emery of Washington; her sisters-in-law, Barbara Roscoe and Judy Roscoe, both of Thomaston; her brother-in-law, Timothy Roscoe of Weeks Mills; several nieces and nephews as well as a great-niece and a great-nephew.
At Lori's request, no services will be held.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations to Burpee, Carpenter & Hutchins Funeral Home, 110 Limerock St., Rockland, ME 04841, to assist them with her final expenses.
