Knox County Superior Court and Rockland District Court, closed cases
ROCKLAND — The following cases were closed in Knox County Superior and Rockland District Court from Aug. 14-25.
Superior Court
Darrell Crosby, 59, of Jefferson, unlawful sexual contact, six years in jail with all but 18 months suspended, probation eight years.
Crosby was sentenced Aug. 17 by Judge Beth Dobson. He had pleaded guilty to unlawful sexual contact in June 2016. Crosby’s sentencing was delayed since he has a serious illness and was undergoing medical treatments, according to the court document.
In March 2014, Rockland police responded to a complaint by the mother of the victim that she had been sexually assaulted.
The investigation was conducted by Detective Justin Twitchell of the Knox County Sheriff’s Office. The court affidavit stated that the assaults on the girl began when she was four years old and continued over a six-year period, ending in 2011.
Nikole K. Woodward, 28, of Hope, probation violation, original conviction for domestic violence assault, priors DV, probation partially revoked, no sentence imposed.
Rockland District Court
Aaron S. Preslicka, 37, of Westport, Mass., operating under the influence, $500 fine; operating vehicle without a license, $100 fine.
Kevin J. Secotte, 33, of Thomaston, operating after habitual offender revocation, $500 fine, 90 days in jail; failing to stop for an officer, 90 days in jail.
