Knox County Criminal Docket closed cases
ROCKLAND - The following cases were closed in Knox County Criminal Docket from July 6-10. The unified Criminal Docket is a new system for processing criminal actions and certain associated civil violation actions. It is expected to increase efficiency by eliminating the duplicative clerical workload created by the current system of case transfer between the District and Superior Court by reducing the number of court appearances required to process individual cases, according to the State of Maine Judicial Branch.
Joshua T. Bennett, 29, of Union, discharge firearm or crossbow near dwelling, 55 days in jail; reckless conduct, 55 days in jail; criminal mischief, 55 days in jail; reckless conduct, disorderly conduct, offensive words, gestures, all dismissed; aggravated criminal mischief, two years in jail with all but 55 days suspended, probation two years, $144 restitution.
Stephen J. Little, 27, of Rockland, violation protection from abuse order, violating condition of release, three days in jail.
Jeremy C. Peterson, 26, of Warren, failing to report, 21 days in jail.
Damon A. Rice, 52, of Lincolnville, failure to register vehicle, $100 fine.
Dustin Robinson, 27, of Rockland, operating while license suspended or revoked, $250 fine, 48 hours in jail; operating vehicle without a license, 48 hours in jail.
