Knox County Criminal Docket closed cases
ROCKLAND – The following cases were closed in Knox County Unified Court from April 11-18.
Douglas C. Norman E. Bashaw Jr., 62, of Rockland, failing to notify of motor vehicle accident in Thomaston Jan. 28, 2025, $150 fine.
Scott Bradford, 41, of Rockland, disorderly conduct, loud unreasonable noise in Rockland March 20, 2025, $100 fine.
Jaynie Butler, 34, of South Thomaston, violating condition of release in Rockland May 27, 2023, $250 fine.
Shakira Cayouette, 21, of Rockport, failing to make oral or written accident report in Rockland July 25, 2024, dismissed.
Dylan G. Costa, 28, of Union, assault in Union Oct. 6, 2024, $500 fine.
Virgil W. Cameron Cray Jr., 33, of Waldoboro, unlawful possession of scheduled drug in Rockland Oct. 1, 2024, $400 fine all suspended, 48 hours jail; unlawful possession of scheduled drug in Rockland Oct. 10, 2024, $400 fine.
Thomas M. Eyler, 19, of Warren, placing bait to entice deer in Warren Oct. 21, 2024, $500 fine.
John G. Flower Jr., 39, of Rockland, violating condition of release in Rockland April 14, 2025, seven days in jail. Flower was out on bail stemming from a homicide investigation in Cushing and has agreed to testify in the case. He also was recently convicted on March 27 in Knox County Court to aggravated assault, criminal mischief and violating condition of release and was sentenced to 90 days in jail, but was given credit for time already served in the homicide case.
The incident on April 14 involved the Rockland Police when they were conducting proactive patrols in the evening around a suspected drug trafficking location. During this time, officers stopped a vehicle for traffic violations.
Police said that several individuals were inside the vehicle and a search of the vehicle yielded just over three grams of fentanyl, along with several other smaller amounts of suspected narcotics.
According to the court document, Flower tested positive for methamphetamine, cocaine and amphetamines when he was given a urine test at the Knox County Jail.

Elisha A. Gould, 35, of Appleton, violating condition of release in Rockland Jan. 22, 2025, dismissed.
Alicia J. Gray, 41, of Rockland, unlawful possession of scheduled drug, two counts, both in Rockland Jan. 12, 2025, fines totaling $800; unlawful possession of scheduled drug, two counts, in Rockland, both on Jan. 12, 2025, $800 in total fines all suspended.
Matthew Mackie, 49, of South Thomaston, violation of gear rule, Chapter 75, in Spruce Head Jan. 25, 2025, $250 fine.
Alisha Maxcy, 35, of Jefferson, theft by unauthorized taking or transfer in Thomaston Sept. 22, 2023, 12 hours in jail.
George E. Miller, 47, of Cushing, probation violation for original conviction of domestic violence assault in Thomaston Aug. 28, 2021, 20 months in jail, probation revoked.
Jerry D. Sneed, 36, of St. Albans, attaching false plates in Rockland Aug. 6, 2024, $250 fine.
Byron H.
