House District 41 Rep. Gillway reelected to second term
Republican incumbent wins by 111 votes over Democratic challenger

Maine House District 41 incumbent James Gillway (R-Searsport) won a second term in the state legislature, defeating Meredith Ares (D-Searsport). Totals from the six towns, Frankport, Orland, Prospect, Searsport, Stockton Springs and Verona gave Gillway a 111 vote margin over Ares. The towns voted as follows:
Frankfort - Gillway 301, Ares 197
Orland - Gillway 504, Ares 716
Prospect - Gillway 164, Ares 173
Searsport - Gillway 824, Ares 575
Stockton Springs - Gillway 462, Ares 456
Verona - Gillway Gillway 133, Ares 160
Total - Gillway 2388, Ares 2277
