Firefighters across coastal Maine busy as storm downs trees, wires
Firefighters have been on multiple calls the morning of Oct. 17 as a storm intensifies across the coast of Maine. Downed trees and wires are making some roads impassable, while Lincolnville, Camden, Hope and Northport firefighters are fighting a structure fire near the Camden-Lincolnville town line.
Power outages are widespread (see below)
High winds are expected to persist through 11 a.m., with an east wind of 30 mph and gusts reaching 50 mph.
Rain is to be heavy, as well.
