Camden police investigate trio of business break-ins

CAMDEN — Police in Camden are investigating three burglaries that occurred in downtown business establishments, including a restaurant, during the overnight of July 30 and 31.
Detective Curt Andrick and Officer Brook Hartshorn are talking to business owners and piecing together the information after receiving several calls this morning, Monday, July 31, from employees of businesses discovering evidence of forced entry, as well as cash missing from drawers.
“We do have leads,” said Andrick.
He advises business owners to not keep large amounts of cash on the premises and to use night drop boxes at the banks once closed.
