Camden Police beat
CAMDEN – Camden police reported the following activity from May 4-June 1. An arrest or summons does not imply guilt. A person charged with a crime is presumed innocent unless and until proven guilty in a court of law.
May 4
Nathaniel J. Betts, 22, of Edgecomb, was issued a summons by Officers Brook Hartshorn and Scott Entwistle for violating a condition of release.
Jake B. Traylor, 20, of Westport, was arrested by Hartshorn for operating under the influence and violating a condition of release.
May 18
Renee L. Lawson, 29, of Cushing, was issued a summons by Entwistle for failure to produce evidence of insurance.
May 19
Kenneth W. Pruyne, 21, of Waldoboro, was issued as summons by Entwistle for failure to register a motor vehicle more than 150 days.
May 26
Jason M. Taylor, 43, of Camden, was issued a summons by Entwistle for speeding 25-29 miles over the speed limit.
June 1
Alton E. Sutherland, 37, no residence listed by police, was arrested by Officer Wes Butler for violating condition of release.
