CAMDEN — Henry Pixley, son of Camden Harbormaster Steve Pixley, and Olive Conover, the third generation of the Conover family, caretakers of Curtis Island, check out the north facing bench on the furtive island on a dreary Saturday morning
No matter the weather, the caretaker Conovers are hard at work getting the island ready for kyaks and other visitors for the summer.
