Black ice on Route 17 at site of Union crash
UNION — Union fire and rescue crews are on the scene of a single vehicle crash Tuesday morning involving a 25-year-old male.
The unidentified man was extricated by Union Fire Department with assistance from Camden First Aid Access Team, and transported to meet a LifeFlight of Maine helicopter by Union Ambulance Service.
According to reports, the man sustained possible head, neck and spine injuries.
Road crews have been called to a large stretch of Route 17, near the Union and Hope town line, to sand as the road is reportedly covered with black ice.
