BELFAST — The Belfast Police Department reported the following activity June 19-23. An arrest or summons does not imply guilt. 

May 12 (late entry)

Damian A. Bucklin, 30, of Belfast, was issued a summons for negotiating a worthless instrument on Belmont Avenue, stemming from an incident May 1.

June 19

James R. Shupe, 19, of Bear River, Utah, was issued a summons for speeding 72 mph in a 45 mph zone on Route 3.

June 20

Lars Halusa, 42, of Woodbridge, Va., was arrested for operating under the influence on High Street. 

Julius A. Melton, 21, of Belfast, was issued a summons for attaching false plates on High Street.

Emmy Jo Paquette, 32, of Belfast, was issued summonses for operating without a license, operating after suspension and violating conditions of release on Northport Avenue. 

June 21

Susan R. Rich, 44, of Monroe, was issued a summons for operating under the influence on High Street.
