Arlene E. Staples, obituary
WASHINGTON — Arlene E. Staples, 75, died April 27 at Maine General Hospital in Augusta. She was born July 10, 1937, in Biddeford to Alfred and Bertha Perkins Valliere.
Arlene married William E. "Sonny" Staples Jr. and they have been happily married for 28 years, living in Washington. Arlene was a wonderful, loving and funny person. She was loved by all. She was predeceased by her mother-in-law, Dorothy Church, who was like a mother to Arlene.
She is survived by her husband; her sister-in-laws, Marlene Burnham and her husband, David, of Waldoboro, Veronica Andersen and her husband, Larry, of Cornville and Debbie Miller of Waldoboro, her brother-in-laws, Norman Benner and his wife, Dawn, of Friendship, Gary Benner and his wife, Rhonda, of Friendship and Ronald Benner of Wells; his niece, Sharon McSweeney and her husband, Jay, of Chelmsford, Mass., many brothers, sisters, nieces and nephews
