Knox County Superior Court: Closed case report
The following cases were closed in Knox County Superior Court from Oct. 1 through Oct. 5, 2012.
Robert Armstead, 55, of Rockland, unlawful trafficking in scheduled drugs in Rockland Jan. 11, 2010, 16 months in prison, probation continued; aggravated trafficking of scheduled drugs in Rockland Aug. 1, $400 fine and 10 months in prison; assault in Rockland Aug. 22, five months in prison.
James R. Baum, 51, of St. George, negotiating a worthless instrument (bad check) in St. George Nov. 12, 2010, seven days in jail.
Eleanor J. Brugger, 27, of Camden, unlawful trafficking in synthetic hallucinogenic drugs in Camden Feb. 16, $400 fine and nine months in jail.
Steven E. Clarke, 48, of Owls Head, criminal threatening, dismissed; driving to endanger, $575 fine, six months in jail and 30-day license suspension; violating conditions of release, six months in jail; terrorizing, nine months and one day in prison; reckless conduct, dismissed. All five incidents occurred in Rockland May 19.
Joseph L. Davis, 43, of Waldoboro, failing to pay tax or file return in Camden Jan. 1, 2004, probation partially revoked, no sentence imposed.
Darrell W. Degreenia, 48, of Union, three counts of cruelty to animals, six months in jail; two counts of arson, six months in jail, probation continued. All incidents occurred in Washington Aug. 24, 2007.
Jeremy J. Eaton, 36, of Stonington, aggravated assault in Vinalhaven Dec. 30, 2006, one year in prison.
Christopher M. Gamage, 26, of Auburn, theft by receiving stolen property in Thomaston April 28, 2007, 364 days in jail with all but six months suspended, one year of probation and $1,460 restitution.
Christopher Girard, 29, of Biddeford, criminal attempt in Thomaston Oct. 3, 2011, nine months in prison.
Kristi Marie Hall, 23, of Wells, two counts of stealing drugs in Owls Head Feb. 13, dismissed; theft by unauthorized taking or transfer in Owls Head Feb. 13, 20 days in jail.
Thomas Hoffman Jr., 21, of Washington, criminal mischief in Union April 24, 2010, seven days in jail, probation continued.
Anthony Kaler, 39, of Bangor, unlawful trafficking in scheduled drugs in Warren Dec. 12, 2007, 26 days in jail, probation continued.
George W. King III, 53, of Union, domestic violence assault in Union Aug. 28, 2011, dismissed.
Nadya Kocak, 30, of Camden, unlawful trafficking in scheduled drugs in Rockland July 13, 2010, 75 days in jail, probation continued; violating conditions of release in Rockland Jan. 12, 30 days in jail; unlawful possession of hydromorphone in Rockland Jan. 12, $400 fine and 30 days in jail.
Paul Mahonen Jr., 34, of South Thomaston, unlawful possession of scheduled drugs in Rockland Aug. 12, 2011, dismissed; unlawful possession of oxycodone in Rockland Aug. 12, 2011, $400 fine and 100 days in jail.
David W. Meierdirk, 33, of Orrington, violating conditions of release in Rockland April 12, dismissed; unlawful possession of oxycodone in Rockland April 12, dismissed.
Jason P. Merrill, 26, of Rockland, unlawful trafficking in scheduled drugs in Rockland Nov. 25, 2011, 10 months in prison.
Randall T. Robinson, 54, of Thomaston, failing to pay tax or file return April 15, 2004, 2003, 2007, 2006, 2002 and 2005, 18 months in prison with all but five months suspended and probation continued.
Jared J. Small, 35, of Norridgewock, operating after habitual offender revocation in Rockport July 18, 2011, $1,000 fine, three years in jail with all but nine months suspended and two years of probation.
Shane M. Stimpson, 22, of Cushing, gross sexual assault in Warren Jan. 6, 2010, $25 fine (suspended), five years in jail with all but six months suspended and three years of probation.
Anthony N. Vitale, 43, of West Rockport, unlawful trafficking in scheduled drugs in Rockland March 20, $400 fine, three years in prison with all but 90 days suspended, two years of probation and $15 restitution.
