'Just a Few Friends' art exhibit, opening celebration at Salt Pond Studio
Join the artists Saturday, May 24, from 4 - 7 p.m., at the Opening Celebration of “Just a Few Friends,” the season opener at Salt Pond Studio, Friendship.
This is an invitational group exhibition curated by gallery owner and artist Pam Cabañas. The diverse group of Maine artists includes pastel artist Lyn Asselta, weaver Sara Hotchkiss, Metal Smith Noah Bly, creator Merle Rockwell, as well as painters Carolyn Gabbe, Jane Herbert, Eric Jacobsen, Libby Reed, Carol Sloane and Karin Strong.
The exhibit is on view from Thursday, May 22 through Sunday, June 15.
"As always Salt Pond Studio throws a fun event with art and the barbecue and fire pit blazing," said Salt Pond, in a news release.
Salt Pond Studio is located at 522 Cushing Road, Friendship (corner of rte. 97 and Salt Pond Road).
