Film Club at Rockland library to discuss 1996 crime thriller, March 10
ROCKLAND — Film Club at the Rockland Public Library will meet Monday, March 10, at 6 p.m., in the Library's Board Room.
"It’s like a book club but with movies," said RPL, in a news release.
Watch the selected film on your own and then join the group for a lively discussion each month. Plots, themes, characters, soundtracks, symbolism, cinematography, and more are all discussion options. From casual viewers to cinephiles, all levels of interest in film are welcome.
This month’s discussion is centered on the 1996 crime/thriller Fargo.
The group is facilitated by Phil Jellen and meets the second Monday of each month. The Rockland Public Library is located at 80 Union St. For more information or with questions, call 594-0310 or email refdesk@rocklandmaine.gov.
