Islesboro Police beat: Speeding, inspection violations
ISLESBORO — Islesboro Public Safety Director Fred Porter reports the following activity July 16-31 for the Islesboro Police Department. The department received or responded to 56 calls for service, to include five radar details, two motor vehicle complaints, and 49 other complaints.
An arrest or summons does not constitute a finding of guilt. An individual charged with a crime is presumed innocent unless and until proven guilty at some later criminal proceedings.
Arrests and Summonses
On July 16, Pamela Schreiber, 76, of Philadelphia, Pa., was charged by Porter for speeding.
On July 20, Daniel McLaughlin, 24, of Kittery, was charged by Officer Eric Bonney for operating a vehicle without a valid inspection sticker.
On July 24, Jeremy Beaudry, 44, of Montpelier, Vt., was charged by Porter for speeding.
On July 25, a female juvenile, age 17, of Hobe Sound, Fla., was charged by Porter for speeding.
On July 25, Richard Collier, 80, of Hobe Sound, Fla., was charged by Porter for failure to keep right and imprudent speed.
On July 27, a male juvenile, age 17, of Los Angeles, Calif., was charged by Porter for improper passing and failure to keep right.
