ISLESBORO — The Islesboro Police Department reported the following activity, March 18-24, 2013. An arrest or summons does not imply guilt.
March 19
• Senior Officer Fred Porter received an information complaint pertaining to an ongoing investigation.
• Porter received a report of a missing dog on Jenny's Lane; the dog returned on its own.
March 21
• Porter received a report of an alarm activation on Pendleton Point Road.
• Porter received a report of an alarm activation on East Shore Drive, which was canceled by the owner.
March 22
• Officer Matthew Nadeau conducted a traffic stop on Mill Creek Road. A summons was issued to Juan Coronado, 56, of Islesboro, for operating after suspension.
• Nadeau conducted a house check on Billy Shore Lane and found the premises was secure.
• Nadeau responded to a suspicious circumstance/person complaint on Pendleton Point Road. The complaint was deemed unfounded.
• Islesboro Police Department received report of a 911-disconnect call on Ferry Road. Upon investigation by Porter it was found a child had dialed 911.
• Nadeau responded to a disturbance call on Main Road and assisted Islesboro EMS with the call.
March 23
• Officer Nickolas Von Husen conducted a public assist on Main Road.
• Von Husen conducted business checks on Alumni Drive, Main Road and Ferry Road. All premises were found to be secure.
March 24
• Porter received report of an alarm activation on Minot Island, which was cancelled by the responsible person.
