Waldoboro Police beat: Arrest warrants, accidents, stolen PlayStation 4
WALDOBORO — Waldoboro police responded to 132 calls for service from Aug. 14-21. Listed below are a few of the highlights. An arrest or summons does not apply guilt. A person charged with a crime is presumed innocent unless and until proven guilty in a court of law.
Aug. 14
Jason Winchenbach, 31, of Waldoboro, was arrested by Officer Thomas Bartunek on a warrant.
Bartunek investigated an accident on the Atlantic Highway at 9:58 p.m. A female juvenile, 17, of Waldoboro, was driving a 2009 Toyota sedan. Deven Dupuis, 19, of Waldoboro, was driving a 2000 Toyota sedan. Richard Beaucage, 50, of Waldoboro, was driving a 2014 Ford utility vehicle. The female juvenile was traveling westbound, following the roadway and failed to see vehicles stopped for a flagger. Dupuis was traveling westbound, stopped in traffic. Beaucage was westbound stopped in traffic. Injuries were reported.
Aug. 16
Officer Larry Hesseltine investigated an accident on the Atlantic Highway at 2:20 p.m. Anthony Limanni, 69, of Gilford N.H., was driving a 2008 Toyota pickup truck. He was traveling eastbound, following the roadway and fell asleep. The vehicle and trailer he was towing went off the roadway on the right side, hit two culverts before coming to rest in the middle of the road. No injuries were reported.
Robert Licciardi, 31, of Waldoboro, was arrested by Officer Andrew Santheson on a warrant.
Aug. 18
Elvis Bowen, 19, of Waldoboro, was issued a summons by Hesseltine for furnishing a place for minors to consume/possess alcohol.
Aug. 20
Kellen Whitney, 18, of Waldoboro, was arrested by Officer Jeffery Fuller on a warrant.
Fuller is investigating a report from a citizen of a stolen PlayStation 4.
Officer John Lash is investigating a report by a citizen of an assault and theft.
