ROCKLAND – The Dunkin Donuts on Main Street in Rockland closed briefly, Friday, Aug. 3 after a car hit an exterior brick wall along the drive-thru lane.
The single occupant within the car was not injured, and the car itself barely suffered a scratch, after hitting the wall head-on around 5 a.m.
After being questioned by police, the occupant was taken from the scene in the back of a cruiser.
The police department is still investigating.
A crew from Rockland Fire/EMS also responded to the call, with a few personnel having come straight from a different smoke alarm investigation on Tillson Avenue.
More details will be added to this article as they become available.
