Letter to the editor: Poliquin office clarifies appointment process

Hello,
In a letter to the editor that was published online this morning (https://www.penbaypilot.com/article/letter-editor-impact-word/104396), the writer, Beverly Roxby, incorrectly states the Congressman Poliquin will take a “vote” for the successor to Scott Pruitt at the EPA.
In fact, the Senate, and not the House where the Congressman serves, confirms presidential appointments. The House of Representatives does not vote on presidential appointments.
