What’s on the agenda: Midcoast school boards talk budgets, curriculum, contracts
During the week of April 13 - 17, RSU 69 (Hope, Appleton, and Lincolnville), RSU 20 (Searsmont, Searsport, Stockton Springs, Swanville) and the board of directors for Belfast, Belmont, Morrill, and Northport will all continue their budgetary focuses. There will also be attention paid to the calendar year, the curriculum, and teacher contracts.
SAD 28
Appleton · Camden · Hope · Lincolnville · Rockport
The SAD 28 school board meeting Wednesday, April 15, 7 p.m., in the Camden Rockport Middle School cafeteria. After addressing a full agenda, the board will go behind closed doors to continue its discussions about contract negotiations with Megunticook Teachers Association and the Megunticook Educational Support Association.
The board will also enter executive session to discuss a personnel matter.
In addition to hearing reports, the board will consider stipends.

Hope School Committee
Hope School will hold a regular school committee meeting, Monday, April 13, at 6 p.m. at Hope Elementary School.
Before the meeting there will be a discussion/information session on education effectiveness.
The meeting itself will involve public comment, approval of the school calendar for 2015-2016, appointment of eighth-grade advisors, adjustment to school year 2014-2015 calendar, discussion of Pre-K, approval of budget for 2015-2016, and an executive session pursuant to M.R.S.A 405 (6) (D) teacher negotiations.
The Sub Committee meets at the Union 69 Central Office Monday, April 13, 3:30 p.m. to 5 p.m., in order to draft policy and procedural changes of the superintendent evaluation process.
The Lincolnville Central School Committee will meet with the Lincolnville Town Budget Committee Tuesday, April 14, 6 p.m., at the Lincolnville Town Office.

The finance committee will meet at 5:30 p.m. at the Central Office.
The board of directors for Belfast, Belmont, Morrill, Northport will meet Tuesday, April 14, 6:30 p.m. in the Belfast Area High School band room.
