Waldoboro police beat
WALDOBORO – Waldoboro police reported the following activity, Sept. 10-23. An arrest or summons does not imply guilt. A person charged with a crime is presumed innocent unless and until proven guilty.
Sept. 10
Officer Thomas Hoepner summonsed a 14-year-old female for assault and harassment.
Sept. 11
Officer Sean Kozer summonsed a 17-year-old male for burglary, theft, misuse of identification, possession of a useable amount of marijuana, and sale/use of drug paraphernalia. He also summonsed a 16-year-old male for burglary, theft, and misuse of identification.
Officer Sean Kozer is investigating a report that a motor vehicle was damaged by keying.
Officer Jeremy Joslyn arrested Joseph Solomon, 35, of Waldoboro on a warrant.
Officer Jeremy Joslyn is investigating a phone and text message harassment complaint.
Sept. 12
Officer Thomas Bartunek investigated a text message harassment complaint. A subject was found and warned on harassment.
Sept. 13
Officer Thomas Bartunek investigated an accident on the Manktown Road at 5:18 p.m. Karen George, 47, of Warren, was driving a 2011 Dodge sedan. Edward Moody, 63, of Belfast, was driving a 2012 Honda utility vehicle. He had stopped, attempting to make a left turn out of the high school driveway. George was stopped behind him. As Moody started to turn left out of the high school. George started to turn left and failed to see Moody, striking his vehicle in the rear. There were no injuries.

Officer Jeffery Fuller is investigating a case of gas stolen from several vehicles.
Officer Thomas Hoepner investigated an unwanted subject at the Medomak Valley High School. He took the subject home.

Sept. 15
Officer Sean Kozer arrested Lester Feltis, 23, of Waldoboro, for furnishing a place for minors to consume, assault and fail to sign summons.
Sept. 16
Officer Jeremy Joslyn is investigating a theft of money.
Officer Jeffery Fuller investigated a report of an unwanted subject. He talked to subject and resolved the issue.
Sergeant Jamie Wilson arrested Jessica Debella, 26, of Nobleboro, for domestic violence assault.
Officer Jeremy Jolsyn arrested Chad Bolster, 19, of Bristol, for a violation of conditional release.
Sept. 17
Officer Jeremy Joslyn investigated an accident on the Atlantic Highway at 3:53 a.m. Nicholas Douin, 26, of Augusta, was driving a 2005 Chevrolet pickup when he swerved to miss an animal, went off the road on the right and struck small trees. Minor injuries were reported.
Sept. 19
Officer Jeremy Joslyn is investigating a report of theft of medication.
Sept. 20
Officers William Bragg and William Shuman summonsed Ryan Fraughton, 31, of Waldoboro for harvesting clams without a town license.
Officer Thomas Bartunek is investigating a harassment complaint.
Sept. 22
Officer Jeffery Fuller is investigating a report from the Big Apple of a $10 gas drive-off.
