Waldoboro Police beat: OUI, speeding
WALDOBORO — Waldoboro police responded to 163 calls for service from July 18-25. Listed below are a few of the highlights. An arrest or summons does not imply guilt. A person charged with a crime is presumed innocent unless and until proven guilty in a court of law.
July 18
Hayden Reed, 21, of Waldoboro, was arrested by Officer Thomas Bartunek for operating under the influence and operating a motor vehicle without a license.
July 20
Rebecca Garland, 36, of Waldoboro, was issued a summons by Officer Justin Hills for speed.
Benjamin Andrews, 22, of Nobleboro, was issued a summons by Hills for speed.
Ernest Steeves, 49, of Waldoboro, was issued a summons by Hills for speed.
Jian Sun, 51, of Waldoboro, was issued a summons by Hills for speed.
Robert Waycott, 41, of Calais, was arrested by Bartunek for operating under the influence.
Sherrie Clark, 50, of Union, was issued a summons by Hill for speed.
July 22
Hills investigated an accident on the Atlantic Highway at 10:33 a.m. Lydia Powell, 29, of South Portland, was traveling southbound, failed to keep in the proper lane, and sustained damage to the center passenger side of the vehicle.
Kevin Robinson, Jr, 33, of Thorndike, was issued a summons by Hills for speed.
Sherrie Clark, 51, of Union, was issued a summons by Hills for speed.
