Waldoboro Police beat: Home invasion, harassment
WALDOBORO - Waldoboro police responded to 154 calls for service from March 18-23. Listed below are a few of the highlights. An arrest or summons does not apply guilt. A person charged with a crime is presumed innocent unless and until proven guilty.
March 18
Officer Larry Hesseltine is investigating a report of a home invasion in which the resident was reportedly robbed at gunpoint by three males who stole merchandise and money.
March 19
Officer Larry Hesseltine is investigating a report from a resident who is receiving harassing Facebook messages.
March 20
Officer Jeffrey Fuller arrested Janice Hallett, 49, of Waldoboro, on a warrant.
Sgt. Jamie Wilson is investigating a report of a resident who is receiving harassing text messages.
Officer Andrew Santheson arrested Michael Young, 33, of Damariscotta, for operating under the influence and refusing to submit to arrest/detention.
