Waldoboro Police beat: Criminal mischief, theft, arrest warrant
WALDOBORO — Waldoboro police responded to 295 calls for service from June 28 - July 12. Listed below are a few of the highlights. An arrest or summons does not imply guilt. A person charged with a crime is presumed innocent unless and until proven guilty in a court of law.
July 2
Tyler Reid, 21, of Palermo, was issued a summons by Officer Nathaniel Jack for uninspected motor vehicle.
Brian Breen, 38, of Warren, was issued a summons by Jack for uninspected motor vehicle.
July 3
Jack is investigating a report from a citizen about the possible theft of money.
Jack investigated an accident in a parking lot on Atlantic Highway at 3:00 p.m. Anna Martz, 25, of Waldoboro, was operating her vehicle in a parking lot and struck unattended, legally parked vehicle belonging to Mary Hurst, 67, of Rockland.
Anna Martz, 25, of Waldoboro, was issued a summons by Jack for operating after revocation.
Reginald Perreault, 33, of Waldoboro, was issued a summons by Jack for operating after suspension
Officer Thomas Bartunek is investigating a theft report from a citizen.
Tony Thurman, 52, of Waldoboro, was arrested by Bartunek for assault, refusing to submit to arrest and terrorizing.
July 5
Cameron Henry, 27, of Thomaston, was arrested by Bartunek on a warrant.
Sgt. Jamie Wilson is investigating a report from a citizen about criminal mischief to her motor vehicle.
July 8
Officer Dwight Jones is investigating a report from a citizen about criminal mischief to his mailbox.
Officer Jeffery Fuller is investigating a report from a citizen about criminal mischief to her lawn.
Fuller is investigating a report from a citizen about criminal mischief to his door.
Fuller is investigating a report from a citizen about damage to his lawn.
July 9
Jack is investigating a report from a garden center about the theft of $50 in miscellaneous items.
