Waldo County Sheriff’s Office beat
BELFAST — The Waldo County Sheriff’s Office reported the following activity June 15-22. An arrest or summons does not imply guilt.
June 15
Michaela A. Hodges, 26, of Belmont, was issued a summons for failure to register a motor vehicle on Swanville Avenue.
Danielle M. Ellsworth, 43, of Swanville, was issued a summons for an inspection sticker violation.
June 16
William Whitcomb, 36, of Monroe, was issued a summons for operating after suspension on Monroe Highway in Brooks.
June 19
William Ryerson, 67, of Winterport, was issued a summons for failure to register a motor vehicle on Route 1A in Winterport.
Deputy Cassandra McDonald responded to the scene of a single-vehicle accident on Albion Road in Unity when a driver reportedly fell asleep at the wheel. The vehicle, a 2012 Toyota, drifted over the white fog line and into a ditch, leading the vehicle to hit an embankment and continue on before striking a utility pole. The vehicle was totaled and towed from the scene. The driver and lone occupant of the car, who was wearing a seat belt, was transported to the hospital with possible broken bones.
June 21
Kenneth Kudrick, 23, of Bangor, was arrested for violating conditions of release and refusing to submit to arrest or detention on North Main Street in Winterport.
