TENANTS HARBOR — Spencer M. Hurtt Jr., 87, former Philadelphia resident and founder of the Back Bay Planning and Development Council in Boston, died peacefully Wednesday, Sept. 26, 2012, at his home with his wife Anne Demorest Hurtt at his side.
At Mr. Hurtt's request a memorial service will be held at a later date.
