CAMDEN — Shirley E. Porter, 86, of Camden, and widow of James "Jim" Porter, died Friday, Sept. 7, 2012, at her daughter's home in Hampden. 

A complete obituary will be published later.  A Memorial Service followed by a reception will be held Friday, Sept. 21, 2012, ata 11 a.m. at the Aldersgate United Methodist Church in Rockland with the Rev. Linda Campbell Marshall officiating. Memorial donations may be made to the charity of one's choice, or to Eastern Maine Charities, P.O. Box 404, Bangor, ME 04402.
