Rockport Select Board faces super-agenda of town business
ROCKPORT —The Select Board's agenda for its April 8 meeting is lengthy, and ends with a closed-door personnel session considering a compensation matter. The evening also includes much new business, such as considering a new sign request at the entrance of Pen Bay Medical Center, hearing a progress report about revisioning Camden Street near the town border with Rockland, building new boat ramp floats, establishing a new Capital Improvement Committee, and deciding whether to stream Select Board meetings over the Internet.
The board will also talk about what to talk about when its meets again with the Camden Select Board on April 24. And, it will set a date for a person from Drummond, Woodsum to brief the board on the "Do's and Dont’s of interviewing candidates for the town manager position."
The meeting begins at 7 p.m. in the Rockport Opera House Meeting Room. It is also televised on local cable channel 22.
