LIBERTY - Waldo County Judge of Probate Susan Longley will be hosting "Probate Basics" presentations through October.

Although she cannot provide legal advice at these presentations, Longley can help attendees comprehend the basics of probate law. Based on her years of experience as a judge, lawyer and teacher of law courses, she can help attendees better understand such probate-related matters as powers of attorney (or "advance directives"), guardianships, conservatorships, adoptions, name changes and wills, and what families might consider doing to be better prepared. Refreshments will be served.
