Patricia Ann Walsh, obituary
CUSHING — Patricia Ann Walsh, 60, died peacefully, surrounded by her three daughters and her granddaughter, Kyleigh, Feb. 13, 2013, following a period of declining health at Windward Gardens in Camden.
Born in Belfast Aug. 28, 1952, she was the daughter of Lewis Sr. and Sylvia Moulton Dyer. Growing up in the Belfast area, she was educated locally.
Following high school Patricia remained in Belfast, raising her three children. She was the consummate homemaker, and after raising her own children, Patricia spent much of her time caring for her grandchildren. Her family said they were her pride and joy and she loved spending time with them.
In recent years Patricia has enjoyed keeping up with friends and family on Facebook. She loved to post photos of favorite camping trips and family gatherings. She especially loved having her family together at Christmas. Dancing at Crystal Falls was also a favorite pastime.
Predeceased by her parents and two infant brothers, Christopher and Timothy Dyer; Patricia is survived by her three daughters, Julie Philbrook and her companion, Greg Lafortune, of Waldoboro, and twins Brandie Philbrook and her companion, Michael White, and Brenda Philbrook and her companion, Ron Fogg, all of Cushing; her brothers, Lewis Dyer Jr. and his wife, Margo, and Larry Dyer and his wife, Belinda, all of Belfast; her sister, Brenda Meklin and her husband, Kurt, of Rockland; eight grandchildren, Kristen, Kyleigh and Raelyn Philbrook, Landin White, Blaine and Ethan Fogg, and Brianna and Arden Dunham; a special niece, Theresa Dyer of Camden; as well as several nieces and nephews and a large extended family.
A pot luck gathering of love and remembrance will be held Tuesday, Feb. 19, from 5 to 7 p.m. at 104 Limerock, Burpee, Carpenter & Hutchins Funeral Home's reception facility.
Arrangements are in the care of Burpee, Carpenter & Hutchins Funeral Home in Rockland.
