Marine veteran Nathaniel Jack named Knox County Deputy of the Year
ROCKLAND — Knox County Sheriff Donna Dennison today named Deputy Nathaniel Jack Knox County's 2012 Deputy of the Year. Jack was recognized for the designation Jan. 6, for his "extraordinary performance and significant contributions as a patrol deputy of the Knox County Sheriff's Office."
Jack is a former U.S. Marine, served two tours in Iraq, and Dennison said Jack carried a small U.S. flag in his pocket throughout his tours.
"Deputy Jack treats the public with respect, compassion and professionalism. He is known throughout the law enforcement community as a trustworthy and reliable law enforcement officer, who's dedication and loyalty to public service is a direct reflection of his own personal values," said Dennison in a press release. "Deputy Jack brings great credit upon himself and the Knox County Sheriff's Office and is a model deputy for others to follow."
