Islesboro police beat
ISLESBORO — The Islesboro Police Department reported the following activity, March 25-31, 2013. An arrest or summons does not imply guilt.
March 26
· Senior Officer Fred Porter investigated a complaint on Main Road and advised the complainant to continue working with the agency already working on the case.
March 28
· Porter received report of an unsecure premises. This case is currently under investigation.
March 29
· Officer Matthew Nadeau conducted a property check on Turtle Head Road, where two doors were found unsecured.
· Nadeau conducted two agency assists for Islesboro EMS.
· Nadeau conducted business checks on Airport Road and Alumni Drive; all buildings secure.
· Nadeau conducted a radar detail on Ferry Road. One warning for failure to stop at a stop sign and one warning for failure to display insurance were given.
March 30
· Officer Nickolas Von Husen conducted three property checks on Ellis Lane and found all premises were secure.
· While on routine patrol, Von Husen discovered criminal mischief at Maddie Dodge Field. This incident is under investigation.
· David Runnion-Bareford, 65, of Islesboro, was summonsed for failure to stop for a stop sign
· Von Husen conducted a radar detail on Main Road and found no violations.
· Von Husen responded to a disturbance (verbal argument) complaint on Meadow Pond Road. One female left one her own and there were no arrests.
· Von Husen conducted a public assist on Ferry Road.
