Islesboro Police beat: Theft, harassment, speeding
ISLESBORO — Islesboro Public Safety Director Fred Porter reports the following activity Aug. 1-21 for the Islesboro Police Department. The department received or responded to 43 calls for service, to include three radar details, two theft complaints, one harassment complaint, and 37 other complaints.
An arrest or summons does not constitute a finding of guilt. An individual charged with a crime is presumed innocent unless and until proven guilty at some later criminal proceedings.
Arrests and Summonses
On August 2, Elana Kehoe, 47, of Islesboro, was charged by Porter for speeding.
Crashes
On August 10, there was a non-reportable crash on Ferry Road.
Parking tickets
Seven parking tickets were issued.
